Day 01 - Istanbul Arrival
When arrival to Istanbul Airport, you will be met by our guide and will be with you during your transfer to your hotel. You have the afternoon and evening free to relax or take a short tour around your accomadation in the city.
Day 02 - Istanbul
We will go out in the morning to visit the Sultanahmet Square and the gorgeous Blue Mosque decorated with beautiful 17th century Iznik tiles. Then walk around the historical Hippodrome where chariot races were once done. After strolling Hippodrome, visit the Hagia Sophia / St. Sophia and Museum. An early Christian church, later changed into a mosque under Ottoman rule, this fabolous temple now serving as a museum with all the handmades from the Byzantine era intact, is especially famous for its mosaics. After lunch, we will visit the Topkapi Palace Museum, the house of the legendary Ottoman Sultans, now converted into a museum. It has got several exhibition halls, such as the Treasury, the porcelain section, Armoury and Holy Relics. We will finsh this historical day with a visit to the Grand Bazaar and go back to the hotel for overnight.
Day 03 - Istanbul
You will visit Spice Market first, still in use as one of the world’s biggest and nost famous spice bazaars since 1665. Next, we will get on the ferries across the Bosphorus which will take us to both European and Asian sides of the city. This magnificent voyage will take you along the shores of Bosphorus and you will see the Rumeli Castle from the 15th century as well as the seaside summer palaces and unique wooden houses of the area, as well as the natural beauty of the forests above. The last break on the cruise is the fishing village of Sariyer, near the Black Sea. From there on we will go by coach via the world’s only Intercontinental Bridge Bosphorus Bridge to take you to Camlica Hill on the Asian side. Camlica is the highest hill in Istanbul where you will enjoy breathtaking views of Istanbul. We will visit the Dolmabahce Palace, the residence of the royal Ottoman family with original furniture and magnificent gardens. After the tour, you will be transferred your hotel.
Day 04 - Istanbul
Free day at leisure. Overnight Istanbul.
Day 05 - Istanbul / Cappadocia
Early check out and drive to Istanbul Airport for 06:30 Cappadocia flight arriving at 07:50 to Kayseri Airport. When you arrive the Cappadocia, you will be taken to your hotel to have a rest for a great trip on next day. After having breakfast you will first visit the fairy chimneys which are famous all around the world. Their shapes are like mushroom house. You will also make witnessing to the nice view of Devrent Valley. Then, you will go on your tour from Avanos where you will have your lunch. After lunch, you will be taken to Göreme Open Air Museum which is called by Unesco as a Heritage Site. When you come to end of your tour you will visit the natural churches in Uçhisar. End of the day, you will be transfered to your hotel. On your fifth day of your tour you will have a fantastic night in your traditional Cappadocian cave hotel.
Day 06 - Cappadocia
Check-out of your hotel and start another full day tour visiting the famous Derinkuyu Underground City. Afterwards, a short walk through the green Ihlara Valley alongside the stream, having stops at some of the churches along the way. A stop in Belisirma for lunch and then continue to Selime for a panoramic view of the Ihlara Canyon. A stop at the Agzikarahan Caravansarai is also included. At the end of the tour you will be taken to Kayseri Airport for the domestic flight to Istanbul. Your lasts night will be spent in Istanbul.
Day 07 - Cappadocia / Antalya
Early check out and transfer to Kayseri Airport for 08:00 Antalya flight arriving at 09:15 to Antalya Airport. Going to hotel in historical Kaleici quarter. A half day city tour is the perfect entry to Antalya on the Mediterranean Sea, an area known as the Turquoise Coast. The highlights on this four-hour has got Hadrianus Gate from the time of Roman Emperor Hadrian, Clock Tower, Palm Street, Old Town with Marina, Republican Square and finally Antalya Archaeological Museum where Antalya's several thousand years of history is laid out before you in chronological order. Return back to hotel for overnight stay, or if you are feeling more active, after a short walk from your hotel you will reach the restaurants and bars area, each combine delicious meals with a stunning environment where you can find entertainment to suit most tastes.
Day 08 - Side Perge & Aspendos / Antalya
Leave in the morning to visit Perge, an important city of ancient Pamphylia, established by the Hittites around 1500 BC. St. Paul visited Perge on his first missionary journey. The theatre stage has finely hallowed marble reliefs and other diggins from around the city are displayed in the stadium. Then go to Aspendos, which bears one of the best preserved Roman theatres in Asia Minor. After lunch by the river, we visit Manavgat Waterfalls before continuing to Side. Side is one of the best-known classical sites in Turkey. It was an ancient harbour, today Side is a pretty resort town with its ancient ruins, two sandy beaches and many tiny souvenir shops. The fabolous theatre of the ancient city, built on colonnaded arches, is the largest in the whole area.
Day 09 - Demre Myra & Kekova / Kas
After breakfast check-out and we will go on an hour west to visit Demre to see the Church of St. Nicholas, the saint to who is known as Santa Claus. Inside the church is the sarcophagus of St. Nicholas although his traces were taken to Italy. A short stop to see the traces of Myra city and rock tombs. After having lunch we leave Demre and proceed to Kekova; known for its crystal clear sea waters ideal for swimming, castles, the ancient ruins on land and in the sea, sarcophagus’ all around the land & the sea, and countless other beauties. We will take a glass bottom boat to around Kekova Island which will give us a chance to see the ruins of a sunken city. We will visit Simena castle and then we go along the famous Turquoise Coast to the small fishing village of Kas for overnight stay.
Day 10 - Kas
Free day at leisure. Overnight Kas.
Day 11 : Kas / Fethiye
Check out from hotel and depart from Kaþ to Fethiye. You can choose to spend your day either in Kas or Fethiye (Oludeniz) as the drive is just an hour.
Day 12 - Fethiye
Free day at leisure. Overnight Fethiye. Optional : Pick up from the hotel and transfer to the boat. A lazy day boat cruise leaving from Oludeniz Beach. Get on the boat for a day you won't forget. A pefect place to swim in the Blue Cave before stepping at Butterfly Valley. For the energetic, a climb up to the Waterfall where you might see a rare Tiger Butterfly is not to be missed. You will be served lunch on the boat before we stop at St Nicholas Island where you can climb amongst ruins to the top of the Island for magnificent views or you may swim at ‘Cold Spring Bay’ where fresh water leaks into the sea and is very refreshing. At the evening sail back to Oludeniz Beach and transfer to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 13 - Fethiye / Dalyan & Iztuzu / Kusadasi
Check out from hotel for Dalyan Caunos tour before heading to Kusadasi. Dalyan is an area of excelent natural beauty and historic interest. Also it is the protected breeding ground of the Caretta Caretta, Loggerhead turtle. Here, a boat will take us down the meandering Dalyan river delta, twisting and turning through thick vegetation which is overlooked by the 4th century BC Lycian rock cut tombs. We will be out of the boat to visit the ancient city of Caunos which stands midway along the channel facing Dalyan. After arriving Iztuzu beach by boat along the river where parts of the film ‘African Queen’ was filmed we have free time on the beach. Then the boat will take us back to a riverside restaurant. We will go on to Kusadasi for overnight stay.
Day 14 - Ephesus
You will be picked up from your hotel lobby to go to the Ancient City of Ephesus . After lunch, we depart to visit the House of Virgin Mary where she is said to be brought here by St. John andhave spent the last of her days. We will see the shrine and small chappel which is a pilgrimage recently visited by Pope Benedict. It is likely the largest diggin site in Turkey, it lies on the north slope of Mount Pion extending southward to the slope of Mount Koressos. It was discovered nearly 2000 years before Christ, it was rebuilt in the year 1000 B.C.. If you like a historical trip you should definetly see this city.
Day 15 - Kusadasi / Istanbul
Breakfast at hotel, free day at lesiure. You may spend the day in Kusadasi or Istanbul as there are frequent flight. Kusadasi was much-frequented place of birds during the seasonal migrations, during Ottoman time it was named as Kusadasi (Bird Island). Bird island is connected to the mainland with a mole. Centuries ago the island was used for securing the shores and for preventing the attacks from the sea. Today, it is an ideal place to watch the panoramic view of the city and to witness breathtaking sunsets. You can also sip your drink at one of the cafes on the island. Transfer to Izmir Airport depending on your preferred flight time. Transfer to your hotel upon arrival. Overnight Istanbul.
Day 16 - Istanbul Departure
Check-out (12:00) from hotel and remainder of day will be at leisure till your transfer to Istanbul Ataturk Airport for your homebound flight.
