The greotest source of income of our town is tourism after agriculture. 45% of our people are in the tourism section. Also called an industry without chimneys, tourism is sure to be the primary source of income in the future.

As of the year 2001, our town has a bed capacity of 42.266 of which 900 has management, investment and government licences. During the 2000 season, around 400.000 local and foreign tourists visited our town, Although holiday villages are very few at present, this number will increase due to the natural and historical affluence of our town.

For the promotion of the number of tourists and the amount of foreign exchange, more advertisement of our town is a must. With the purpose of advertisement activities to be carried out on a larger scale, a foundation. is established for tourism, advertisement and training, briefly named as Fetav.
