    DAY 01 – Arrive in Istanbul
    After check in at Istanbul Airport, you will be met by an agency host who will be responsible for the transfer to your hotel. When you arrive the hotel, your program director will give a welcome party (dependant on arrival), leaving you with the remainder of day to spend at your leisure in Istanbul.

    DAY 02 – Ottoman & Byzantine Relics
    You will begin with a visit to the Ancient Hippodrome, the scene of Byzantine horse races, athletic events, victory celebrations, and political activities of the old city. You will see the Obelisk from Egypt, Serpentine Column from Delphi, the Fountain of Wilhelm II and the Colossus. From here the tour will go to the Blue Mosque that is famous for its znik tiles and St. Sophia (one of the greatest astounds of architecture constructed as a basilica in 536 by Emperor Justinian). Before lunch you will see Istanbul’s Grand Bazaar, exploring a labyrinth of streets and passages housing over 4,000 shops. In the afternoon you will visit the Topkapi Palace, that was built in 1468 by Mehmet the Conqueror, the imperial home of Ottoman sultans and end with a visit to The Suleymaniye Mosque which was constructed by the great Ottoman architect Mimar Sinan.

    DAY 03 – Travel to Canakkale / Gallipoli Tour
    You will start the day with an early check-out, you will have a trip along the coast of the Sea of Marmara, through the small European part of Turkey known as Thrace. After lunch you will be taken a tour of the Gallipoli National Park which covers the Gallipoli Battlefields, Kabatepe War Museum, Anzac Cove,. Afterward,you pass to the Dardanelles waterway by ferry from Europe into Asia where your hotel is located. Your will spend third night in Turkey in Canakkale.

    DAY 04 – Troy, Pergamon Tour / Travel on to Kusadasi
    After having breakfast and checking-out, you will go for a tour to see traces of Troy, one of the world's most crucial archaeological sites because of its place in literature and what it tells us about a important early period in the development of European civilization. Your tour will go on to Pergamum where you will be able to explore Athena and Trojan Temples, Temple of Zeus. At the end of the tour, you will be taken to Kusadasi where your hotel is located.

    DAY 05 – Ancient City of Ephesus Tour
    Today your guide will take you through one of the most marvelous digging sites in the world, Ephesus. You will see the Odeon (concert hall), the Fountain of Trajan, the Library of Celsus and The Great Theatre. After lunch, you will continue to your tour from the house of the Virgin Mary, where she is believed to have spent her last days. On the way to Sirince Village you will have a break at the Temple of Artemis, protectress of Ephesus considered one of the Seven Wonders of the World.

    DAY 06 – Aphrodisias and Pamukkale Tour / Bus to Cappadocia
    Today your trip starts by heading inland to Aphrodisias, which has been sacred to the Mother Goddess since 5800 B.C. After visiting at the Temple of Aphrodite, the monumental Tetra Pylon Gateway, ancient Gladiator Stadium and Archaeological Museum, you will have a trip for an hour inland to see Hierapolis and Pamukkale. Here, you will see the blisteringly white terraced pools of Pamukkale's hot springs, Then, travel onto Cappadocia with an overnight intercity coach.

    DAY 07 – North Cappadocia Tour with Goreme Museum
    Upon arrival to Cappadocia, you will have some free time before your trip stars. Today you will visit Devrent Valley which is located between Avanos, Zelve and Urgup. From here to you will have a journey to Pasabaglari Valley, formerly known as the "Monks' Valley" (Rahipler Vadisi). You will see Goreme Open Air Museum, and view the old rock-hewn churches sculpted in the hillsides almost a thousand years ago. After lunch, go on to the small town of Urgup, which has many hallowed dwellings that are still inhabited. Then you have a Discovery Series “Art of Pottery in Asia Minor” event this afternoon, offering you the chance to visit a cave pottery atelier. Your first day sightseeing of Cappadocia will end with visits to Uchisar and Piegon Valley.

    DAY 08 – South Cappadocia Tour with Ihlara Canyon / Flight to Istanbul
    Check-out of your hotel and start another full day tour visiting the famous Derinkuyu Underground City. Afterwards, a short walk through the green Ihlara Valley alongside the stream, having stops at some of the churches along the way. A stop in Belisirma for lunch and then continue to Selime for a panoramic view of the Ihlara Canyon. A stop at the Agzikarahan Caravansarai is also included. At the end of the tour you will be taken to Kayseri Airport for the domestic flight to Istanbul. Your lasts night will be spent in Istanbul.

    DAY 09 – Transfer to Istanbul International Airport
    After checked-out from your hotel, you will be transfered to Istanbul International Airport for your return or onward flight.
