    Welcome to Turkey! You will have a fantastic experience with our 10 days gold Anzac day tour in Turkey. First of all you will visit Istanbul, housing European Culture 2010, Gallipoli and the ANZAC Dawn Service. You will go back to history of Gallipoli War in the Gallipoli battlefields. You will have fun with sea sun and the sandy beaches of Turkey. In this tour you will enjoy the sightseeing of Istanbul, Troy, Asklepion and Red Basilica, Pergamum, Ephesus, the hot springs, Hierapolis and Pamukkale and an Istanbul city tour. The tour begins with the transfer from the airport,Atatürk Airport, a wellcome party at your 5 stars hotel, dinner and fun of the Turkish night. You will be given information about the package tour by our profassional Anzac experts, from Australia and New Zealand, and also Turkish guide. You will just book this tour and we will be responsible for anything on your travel and holiday.

    Day 1 - Istanbul - Wednesday 21st April 2010

    We will meet at the Ataturk international airport, transfer to your 5 star hotel. Transfers from Sabiha Gokcen airport can be extra cost. You will get your room key and have rest of the day is yours to discover Istanbul til 06:00pm. Between 06:00pm - 7:00pm we will have a briefing about ANZAC Dawn Service and Turkey. It will be given by ANZAC experts who are Australian and New Zealander and by our professional Turkish ANZAC guides. Welcome cocktail, tea, coffee and snacks are all included. You will also meet with the other participant of Anzac tour and TravelShop Turkey team. You will be offered to make arrangement of your flights, to be at the hotel just before the our briefing begins

    Traditional 1001 Turkish nights starts with the departure from hotel at 08:00pm. It includes Turkish dinner, drinks and entertainment. You will have the experience of enjoyment of Turkish night. You will spend the night at your 5 star hotel in Istanbul.

    Day 2 - Istanbul City Tour - Thursday 22nd April 2010

    We depart from the hotel at 08:30am for the Istanbul city tour.

    TOPKAPI PALACE: It is the greatest and most fantastic palace in İstanbul where the Ottoman Sultans lived, from the 15th to the 19th centuries decorated with the marvelous view crystal, silver, and Chinese porcelain, by the sultans and their families, the well known jewels of the Ottoman Treasury, miniatures, that is hold sacred traces of the Prophet Mohammed.

    SULTANAHMET IMPERIAL MOSQUE: It was built across the St. Sophia in the 16th century by the architect Mehmet, also known as the BLUE MOSQUE because of its fantastic view of blue Iznik tiles.

    HIPPODROME: Ancient Hippodrome was an important enjoyment for the people with the chariot races for centuries.

    After we finish the İstanbul tour if you want, you can have a Bosphorous Cruise that is optional. In that cruise you will witness the wonders of Turkey and world.
    Day 3 - Gallipoli and Troy Tour - Friday 23rd April 2010

    We depart to Gallipoli at 07:00in the morning. We will arrive Gallipoli at about 11:45. On the way we will have the opportunity to watch the latest documentary on the Gallipoli Campaign. We come to Gallipoli for lunch on the coast of Gabatepe. After lunch we begin our tour of the Gallipoli Peninsula. See Kabatepe War Museum, ANZAC Cove, Lone Pine Australias Memorial and Cemetery, Quinns Post, Turkish 57th Regiment Cemetery, the Nek, Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial and Cemetery. After the Gallipoli tour, we depart at for the ancient city of Troy (approx. 1.5 hours drive including ferry).

    Your guide will enlighten you about the mythology surrounding Troy, the Trojan Horse and Helen of Troy. After Troy we drive to your boutique hotel in Assos. We stay the night at hotel in Assos.

    Day 4 - Free Day in Assos / ANZAC Cove - Saturday 24th April 2010

    It is your day to enjoy, rest and have fun with your new friends, or get some sleep before the Dawn Service! You can also have much to see in Assos. Your tour guide will give info to you with ideas of where to visit. Luggage can be kept at your hotel as you will return to stay here tomorrow night again. If you wish to buy snacks for the night camp, it is best time to do it. You can also get food and drinks from the stoods at ANZAC Cove. Before going to ANZAC Cove for the Dawn Service, you will have the dinner from the buffet at hotel at 5:30pm. Spend the night at ANZAC Cove. Unless you want to stay outside we will arrange a hotel for accomodation in Gallipoli.
    Day 5 - Gallipoli Dawn Service - Sunday 25th April 2010

    Take your sleeping bags with you,also warm clothes, wet weather equipment and torches because Gallipoli is still as dark and as cold today as it ages ago when our pedigrees came. Please don't forget your hat, sunscreen and good walking shoes! If you don't have the gear we can provide it. All you need to do is asking for us.

    After the services at approx 03:00pm we will drive back to your boutique hotel in Assos. The night is yours to relax, dinner will be served at the hotel. Overnight at boutique hotel in Assos.

    Day 6 - Pergamon Tour / Kusadasi - Monday 26th April 2010

    Proceed to Pergamom (45 minutes drive) - have a look at Asklepion, Zeus's alter, the Red Bassilcia etc. BERGAMA is the city of the Hellenistic - and later Roman city of Pergamon, governed for several centuries by a powerful local ancestors. Its greatest side is the Kizil Avlu or "Red Basilica", a big building on the river not too far from the castle, actually built as a temple for one of the God of Egyptians and changed into a basilica by the early Christians, as it was one of the Seven Churches of Asia Minor though sadly it's now a wrecking trace with a mosque in one of its towers. After Pergamon we go towards the city of Kusadasi. On the way, we will see a place which keeps going on to perform one of the oldest arts of Turkey; center of carpet weaving, if you want go on Turkish Bath. After a fantastic bath we will come to our hotel just on time of dinner. We will stay the night in our 5 star hotel in Kusadasi.

    Day 7 - Ephesus & Kusadasi - Tuesday 27th April 2010

    At 08:30am we leave for Ephesus - the trade center of the ancient times - is an important visit of Turkey. The city is among the largest archeological sites in the world. Her enormous temple, once figure as one of the seven wonders of the Ancient World and reconstructed many times, is shown its latest type from the third century B.C. You will see the ruins of a theatre, an ancient gymnasium, market place (agora) and baths, also the Library of Celsus on this tour. After having lunch, you will have a tour that includes shopping in which you will witness the ancient arts of Turkey like leather making and jewellery. Because of being a guided tour, you will avoid the ongoing hustling and sometimes hassling that is common in Turkish agoras. After having fun of shopping in Turkish market you will get the knowledge of the yesterdays and todays shopping experience. We will stay the night in 5 star hotel in Kusadasi.

    Day 8 - Pamukkale Tour - Wednesday 28th April 2010

    At 08:30 we depart from Kusadasi for Pamukkale. In Pamukkale we are going to visit the calcium terraces of Pamukkale (Cotton Castle) and the tracess of Hierapolis, strolling around this natural phenomenon gives you the option of lying in the waters of the natural springs that flow down the calcium terraces. After our days experience we will go to our hotel at dinnertime and it is optional if you want you can have a rest of the day or you can explore this little town and relax around a pool bar. Stay the night in 5 star hotel in Pamukkale.

    Day 9 - Pamukkale & Istanbul - Thursday 29th April 2010

    After breakfast, you can go to the thermal pool and sun till 10:00am, then departure for Istanbul. The night is yours to Istanbul. Overnight 5 star hotel in Istanbul.

    Day 10 - Istanbul - The End - Friday 30th April 2010

    After having breakfast, please make the checking out your room before 11:00am, as your ANZAC day tour ends today. Please do your arrangements for departure or just ask us for help.
