Passport Validity

Ensure your passport is valid for the duration of your trip. Turkey has an immigration requirement for a passport to remain valid for a minimum period (usually at least six months) beyond the date of entry to the country

FOOTNOTE 1) You require entry visa to enter Turkey. You can obtain a three month multiple entry sticker type visa at the port of entry in Turkey. If you like to obtain your visa through this Consulate General please apply in person with the following documents: *Passport/travel document with the validity of at least six months & a photocopy. *One passport size photograph. * Visa application form fully filled in (to print out visa application form please click here. Visa application form can also be obtained from this Consulate General by sending a self addressed & stamped envelope with a brief letter explaining your request). *Visa fee (cash or postal order only). *Registered and self stamped & addressed envelope if you wish to have your passport returned by post. You should submit your documents to this Consulate General at least two weeks before your departure for Turkey. You are advised not to make any travel arrangements before your visa is issued. Validity of entry visas are for three months beginning from the date of issuing

FOOTNOTE 2) You do not require entry visa to enter Turkey for your stay up to three months.

FOOTNOTE 3) You require entry visa to enter Turkey. You can obtain a one month sticker type entry visa at the port of entry in Turkey.
